The WAIFUS Locker is the interface through which users convert WAIFUS into veWAIFUS by initiating a time-based lock.
Locking WAIFUS grants governance voting power in the form of veWAIFUS. The amount of veWAIFUS received is determined by:
Quantity of WAIFUS locked
Selected lock duration
veWAIFUS balances decay linearly as the unlock date approaches
Lock Parameters
When creating a lock, users must define:
Amount of WAIFUS to lock
Lock duration
Min. Lock Duration: 1 week Max. Lock Duration: 4 years
At maximum duration, the conversion ratio is:
1 WAIFUS locked for 4 years = 1 veWAIFUS
Shorter lock durations result in proportionally lower veWAIFUS balances.

Lock Properties
Once a lock is created:
veWAIFUS is issued immediately
veWAIFUS is non-transferable
Lock cannot be cancelled or withdrawn early
WAIFUS may only be reclaimed after expiration
Info: A user may maintain one active lock at a time.
However, users may:
Extend the existing lock duration
Add additional WAIFUS to the same lock
Multiple locks with separate expiry dates are not supported.
veWAIFUS Decay
veWAIFUS decreases continuously over time as the unlock date approaches.
At expiration:
veWAIFUS balance reaches 0
Underlying WAIFUS can be withdrawn
The veWAIFUS value displayed in dashboards reflects time-weighted voting power and does not represent the raw WAIFUS amount locked.
Managing an Existing Lock
The Locker supports two modifications:
1) Extending Duration
Increasing the lock duration increases remaining lock time and recalculates veWAIFUS accordingly.
2) Adding WAIFUS
Additional WAIFUS may be deposited into the existing lock without changing the unlock date. veWAIFUS is recalculated based on total locked amount and remaining time.
Withdrawal
WAIFUS may only be withdrawn once:
The lock duration has fully elapsed
veWAIFUS has decayed to zero
Early withdrawal is not supported.
