Voting Mechanics

All veWAIFUS holders are eligible to vote on proposals, provided their voting position was established prior to the start of the voting period.

To mitigate late-stage voting concentration, voting influence begins to decay midway through the voting window:

  • Days 1 - 3.5 Votes carry full (100%) weight.

  • Days 3.5 - 7 Voting influence decreases linearly to 0% by the end of the voting period.

This mechanism is designed to reduce last-minute coordination risks while encouraging early participation in governance decisions. Gauge weight votes are not subject to this decay.

Proposal Submission

To introduce a governance proposal:

1

Draft the proposed change and initiate discussion within the Yuzo Governance Forum.

2

Engage the community for feedback and feasibility review.

3

Submit the finalized proposal onchain through the Proposals Portal.
